Micro-needling Aftercare
After your Micro-needling treatment, please be aware and observe the following:

Immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. You may also notice some slight swelling, both are normal and should subside after 1 to 2 hours and will normally diminish within the same day or 24 hours. You may see slight redness after 24 hours but only in minimal areas or spots.
After-care instructions for Micro-needling Treatment:
-
Redness and sensitivity to the area is due to the increase of collagen induction as this starts within 48 hours
-
Itchiness can occur due to the release of histamines in the skin, a regular antihistamine can help with this.
-
Dry skin can be experienced after treatment, use a mild moisturiser and an SPF of at least SPF30 for up to a week after, although SPF should be used daily.
-
No sun exposure for a minimum of 72 hours
-
Do not over touch the area as this creates risk of causing infection
-
Sometimes there can be swelling, bruising and marks where the needles have entered.
-
No make up for minimum 24 hours
After first treatment skin will often feel tighter and look fresher. Results will continue to improve for 3-12 months after treatment as a whole new collagen matrix is formed within the skin, making micro-needling a long lasting treatment.
To achieve maximum result a course of at least 3 micro-needling sessions is recommended over 4-6 weeks intervals, although great skin improvement is noticeable after one treatment.
If you have thad he Jalutox Treatment you can only have this particular treatment every 12 weeks.
