Micro-needling
What is micro-needling?
This decreases the appearance of facial wrinkles and sagging. This maintains its integrity whilst also working to improve firmness, decrease the appearance of ageing, acne scarring and sagging skin.

There are many physical benefits to Micro-needling such as improving the appearance of wrinkles, stretch marks, sun damage, large pores and dark circling around the eyes. On top of this it also improves self confidence.
How does Micro-needling work?
Micro-needling works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen. The idea is that the micro needles pinpricks from the procedure cause slight injury to the skin and then the skin responds by making new collagen-rich tissue. This new skin tissue is, in turn, tighter and more even in tone and texture.

For best results at least 3-4 treatments every 4-6 weeks is recommended so that the new skin cell matrix is fully redeveloped. For optimum results use a rehydrating skin booster in between treatments. If you are targeting a specific concern such as stretch marks you require more treatments.

Benefits of Micro-needling:

Facial Rejuvenation
The increase in collagen and elastin will help to tighten skin, and thicken skin too, reducing and preventing the thinning of skin due to the ageing process. Fine lines and wrinkles are smoothed and relaxed, enlarged pores reduce in size and skin will look brighter and more radiant.

Scars and Stretch Marks
Skin-needling has great results in reducing the appearance of scars.
Stretch marks differ to scars resulting from trauma, stretch marks can take a considerable time to see results, however, when results are seen they are often quite impressive.

Age Spots
Micro-needling can benefit small changes in skin pigmentation caused by ageing and can help the skin to appear more even in tone.

Rosacea and Acne Scarring
The use of micro-needling to benefit this is relatively recent but has shown positive results. Micro-needling can assist by thickening and strengthening the collagen and elastin matrix. Although Micro-needling cannot be done when the rosacea or any acne is active, any flare ups must be under control at time of treatment.

Enlarged pores
Enlarged pores are particularly common on the nose and cheeks. Micro-needling improves the texture of the skin and inducts collagen to that area therefore reducing the size and appearance of the enlarged pores.

Other Benefits Include:
Hands, chest and neck rejuvenation
Skin pigmentation
Reduces eye bags, puffy eyes and crows feet
Stomach tightening
Lip plumping
