CHEMICAL PEEL PRE-CARE
Prior to your Chemical Peel treatment, please observe the following: ​

Avoid extensive sun exposure, especially in the 10 days prior to your scheduled chemical peel including sun beds.

No facial waxing for 7 days prior to treatment.

Do not take any acne treatments for 5 days prior, if on Roaccutane then cannot have for 6 months.

If currently using Retinol products, stop the use of Retin-A (retinol) products or applications for 7-10 days prior to a chemical peel. High percentage alpha hydroxy (AHA) and beta hydroxy (BHA) products should be stopped five days before treatment.

Always apply a broad spectrum sunscreen daily (at least SPF 30 or higher) and avoid the gym 24 hours prior to a chemical peel.

Do not use aspirin, ibuprofen or blood thinning medication for at least 7-10 days prior to a chemical peel, if you are on prescribed medication please consult with your GP before you stop taking.

You cannot have a Chemical Peel if any of the following apply:

Use of Accutane®or other medications that exfoliate or thin the skin within 6 months

Severe rosacea or active acne

Easily scars or has hyper-pigmentation tendencies

Pregnant
-
Breast-feeding
-
Sunburnt or irritated skin

Open sores or lesions
-
Infectious disease
-
Active Herpes simplex
-
Diabetes
-
High blood pressure
-
Heart disease
-
Deficient immune system
-
Permanent cosmetics – wait 2 weeks
